Hey Bangkok

Oh well, what a great start for my blog. It took me three months to remember its existence finally find the time and inner balance for an update. No more writing bloc. At least for now.

Partial reason for my inactivity has been the fact that I moved to Bangkok in February. There’s certainly a couple of posts to come about the benefits of the living in this city – beyond mere food, drinks and fun spheres.

For now, all that counts is that I have arrived and am considering to stay here a little longer.

It’s 2013. Time to move on.

What happens if you complete your post-grad studies? Sure, you could just deny accountability for the imminent real-life shock you are supposed to face and enrol for a PhD. After much consideration, however, I decided that I’m ready to tackle real life. No more academic bubble, no more student life. Time to move on.

Is this what you call maturity? To leave your old life of generating knowledge, wasting time and enjoying life behind? Wait, who said life wasn’t fun anymore once you left university?

Anyhow, a new phase in my life has begun. I’m still alive despite of some despicable media hoax (or rather strategy? Well, in case you’re still wondering why 21/12/2012 did not end our lives, see e.g. here). I’m good. I’m ready to face whatever’s up next. This blog, ingeniously called Going Global v2 (yes, v2 stands for version 2; isn’t xxx two dot oh a little overused these days?) is accompanying me and my adventures to come.
